The short version
- Your receipts are made and stored on your iPhone.
- No account. No ads. No tracking. No analytics in the app.
- We don't run a server that holds your data. We never see it.
- Health, photo, calendar and Screen Time data never leave your phone unless you share a receipt.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Who we are
No Refunds is made by Marek Salurand (“we”, “us”). If you have a question about this policy or your data, email support@norefunds.app.
What the app reads
No Refunds turns data that is already on your iPhone into receipts. It only reads a source after you grant permission in iOS, and you can revoke any permission at any time in the Settings app.
- Health (HealthKit): steps, distance, active energy and similar activity totals. Health data is only used to print receipts. It is never used for advertising, never sold and never shared, and it never leaves your device.
- Photos: counts of photos, videos, screenshots and favorites, read from metadata. The app does not look at, upload or analyse the contents of your pictures.
- Calendar and Reminders: meeting durations and completed-reminder counts. Event titles are hidden on receipts unless you turn them on. Reminder titles are never printed.
- Apple Music: recently played items, used to print your Listening Receipt.
- Screen Time: app usage totals through Apple’s Screen Time frameworks. With standard access, Apple shows this data only inside a private report that the app itself cannot read, save or share.
- GitHub and Bluesky: if you enter a public handle, your iPhone requests public activity for that handle directly from GitHub’s or Bluesky’s public APIs. Those requests go straight from your phone to those services and are covered by their privacy policies. We never receive them.
What is stored, and where
- Printed receipts, your custom recipes and your settings are stored locally on your iPhone.
- Handles and any sign-ins for connected services are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device.
- Nothing is synced to a server run by us. We don’t operate one.
- You can delete your receipt history, cached data and connections at any time in the app under Settings › Privacy. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.
Sharing
A receipt leaves your device only when you choose to share, save, print or export it. What happens to it then depends on where you send it (for example Messages, Instagram or your photo library).
Purchases
No Refunds Pro is sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment and gives the app a signed record that you own Pro, which is checked on your device. We never see your name, Apple Account or payment details. Subscriptions, cancellations and refunds are managed by Apple. See Apple’s privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
What we don’t do
- No analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDKs in the app. The app contains no third-party code.
- No tracking across apps or websites, and no data brokers.
- No selling or renting of data. There is no data for us to sell.
This website
norefunds.app is hosted on Cloudflare. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors and does not collect personal data. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, as described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
Emailing us
If you email support@norefunds.app, your message is forwarded to our inbox (Google Gmail) and we keep it only as long as needed to help you. We use your email address only to reply.
Your rights
Because your data stays on your device, you already control it: you can view, export and delete it in the app. If you’re in the EU/EEA or UK you have rights under the GDPR, including access, correction and deletion of any personal data we hold, which in practice means support emails. Contact us and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
No Refunds is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app’s release notes.
